HVX200 P2 cards in 2026
HVX200 P2 footage uses the same VIDEO, AUDIO, and CLIP folder layout as other Panasonic P2 cards. HPX Converter was developed and tested with HPX170 footage; if you shoot HVX200, try the free trial on your own card first.
Simple HVX200 ingest with HPX Converter
Mount or copy the HVX200 P2 card, open HPX Converter, and point it at the card folder. Review pairing if you want extra confidence, then convert the batch to ProRes MOV.
Exports land in a dated folder with numbered filenames in shoot order — handy when directors reference clips by the order they were filmed.
HVX200 vs. HPX170 workflows
Both cameras write Panasonic P2 media. The card layout and pairing rules are the same; only clip counts and codec settings differ. See our HPX170 workflow guide for a parallel walkthrough or our Panasonic P2 converter overview.
